**Data Coordinator**

The Ramaz School is in Year 1 of a multi-year phased migration to a new Student Information System (Veracross). Reporting to the Director of Data Operations & Analytics, the Data Coordinator is a strategic partner in this process: assisting in data cleaning, transformation, and migration; integration and reconciliation with other systems and software; supporting new phases of implementation; and seeking ways to improve and evolve our processes as we adapt to new systems. This role is actively involved in our school community, providing training and support on the use of our systems, aiding with the creation of queries and reports, and drafting documentation.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with school departments to ensure records are maintained accurately across systems with consideration of evolving school needs and an eye to long term data health
- Clean, transform, migrate, and reconcile data between school databases, LMS, CMS, and other systems
- Assist with annual rollover, data updates, and start-of-school tasks across systems
- Ensure users have appropriate access to the data and reports they need
- Create and maintain queries and reports in our SIS and/or using external tools (Google Sheets, Google Looker, Crystal Reports, MS Excel, etc.)
- Partner with the IT team in supporting account creation and maintenance in SIS, LMS, and related systems
- Troubleshoot questions or issues relating to our data systems
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify opportunities to utilize existing systems more strategically to support their work
- Research and evaluate new products or workflows to streamline school processes
- Collaborate with divisional educational technologists and the IT department on training and support needs
- Create training materials and document workflows
- Direct front-line training and technical support as needed
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant school policies and procedures
- Stay apprised of best practices and new developments in systems and processes in this position’s purview
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Data Operations & Analytics
- Has worked in a data-related role for at least three years
- Has worked in a school environment
- Thoroughly understands the database and related systems in use at the school (Veracross, Senior Systems, Schoology, etc.) or can demonstrate the ability to quickly learn them
- Is proficient in spreadsheet manipulation and presentation
- Can work comfortably with complex spreadsheets and formulas
- Demonstrates creative, critical, and analytical thinking geared toward process improvement
- Works efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exercises good judgment in resolving data errors or omissions
- Demonstrates discretion, discernment, and respect for confidentiality
- Has exceptional organizational skills; can multi-task across projects, managing shifting priorities to meet all deadlines
- Takes a proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving

**Salary: $70K - $80K
