**Job Title**: GIS/CADD Specialist
- **Location**: EPA Region 3 Sites (Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and West Virginia)

**Key Responsibilities: GIS Development and Management**:

- Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases to support environmental investigations and remediation projects.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret spatial data to create detailed maps and visualizations.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of GIS data through regular updates and quality control measures.

**CADD Design and Drafting**:

- Create and modify CAD drawings to support environmental site assessments, remediation plans, and other project needs.
- Prepare detailed site plans, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and EPA guidelines.

**Data Analysis and Visualization**:

- Analyze spatial and environmental data to support decision-making for site remediation and other project activities.
- Utilize GIS and CAD tools to create visual representations of data, including maps, charts, and graphs.
- Support the integration of GIS and CAD data with other project databases and software.

**Technical Support**:

- Provide technical support and training to project teams on the use of GIS and CAD tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, scientists, and other technical staff to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in site visits, fieldwork, and systematic planning meetings as needed.

**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Implement and adhere to quality assurance and quality control measures for GIS and CAD data.
- Ensure all GIS and CAD activities comply with EPA regulations and project-specific requirements.
- Stay updated with advancements in GIS and CAD technologies and best practices.

**Qualifications: Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in GIS or CAD preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in GIS and CAD, particularly with environmental projects.
- Proven experience in developing and managing GIS databases and creating CAD drawings.
- Familiarity with EPA regulations and quality standards.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of GIS and CAD principles, methods, and technologies.
- Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
