The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for envisioning and delivering the digital strategy across AVE brands with a focus on owned properties; inclusive of brand websites, social platforms, addressable audiences and CRM. This position will drive the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that achieve engagement, brand awareness and revenue growth.

As the Digital Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital marketing strategy of AVE by Korman Communities. You will be the driving force behind our online presence, responsible for managing all aspects of our website and leveraging digital channels to maximize our reach and impact.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to optimize our website, deliver compelling content, and implement effective digital marketing campaigns. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing website management, SEO optimization, paid search and performance analysis.

The Digital Marketing Director will report directly to the SVP, Communications and will have a direct report.

**Responsibilities**:
Brand Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic brand marketing plan to achieve company objectives and targets, with a primary focus on enhancing our online visibility, driving traffic to our website and deliver an elevated user experience
- Serve as a change agent to bring digital thinking and make end to end consumer experiences a priority for the organization
- Develop go to market strategy in new markets to achieve property specific goals and drive leasing velocity from pre-leasing through stabilization
- Participate in department and interdepartmental planning and management teams, and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization
- Educate onsite leadership on the digital landscape, processes, and strategies

Web Strategy and CMS
- Drive the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies
- Collaborate with brand, in house, and external teams to ensure that our digital approach is aligned with brand pillars, marketing objectives and business goals
- Lead SEO and SEM strategies to improve our online visibility and drive organic and paid traffic to our website
- Develop and implement a comprehensive paid social media strategy across multiple platforms
- Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
- Work with operations and sales team to optimize E-Commerce software and CRM capabilities to support the business needs
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors through negotiating contracts, managing performance, metrics and identifying opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth

Online Listing Site Management
- Responsible for implementing furnished listings on 3rd party platforms including but not limited to Airbnb, VRBO, Furnishedfinder, etc.

Web Analytics
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), providing insights and recommendations to optimize website performance and enhance UX
- Collaborate with Marketing Analytics team to build out a monthly web performance report for distribution to all stakeholders
- Develop a CRO strategy to improve page performance and achieve channel revenue goals

Other
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our online marketing efforts
- Ensure AVE remains a leader in the digital space by staying ahead of technology trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with external vendors and agencies, such as web developers, designers, and advertising partners, to execute digital marketing initiatives and achieve business objectives

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing strategies preferably in multi-family
- Multi-family lease up strategy experience desirable
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand recognition
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and motivating high performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and the ability to convey complex business strategies clearly
- Adaptability and strong stake holder management skills at leadership level
- Strong knowledge of emerging marketing trends and technologies in multi-family real estate
- Demonstrates strong business judgment and sound decision-making skills; identifies, prioritizes, and articulates highest impact initiatives
- Experience managing external partners and agencies
- Strong analytical skills and experience
