**Scope of Job**:
Works under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and Manager. The Facilities Technician Team Leader is responsible for leading several other Facilities Technicians to coordinate work requests and manage the work processes related to maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and operation of the facilities under his or her responsibility. Supports the overall goal of maintaining, a neat, clean, and comfortable work environment within which the customer may carry out their responsibilities with mínimal disruption due to facilities-related issues. Is responsible for the timely completion of assigned tasks. All functions shall be performed in accordance with Facilities department and LEGOLAND Florida policies, practice and procedures. The lead position manages all aspects of the position and will operate hand tools and power equipment in a safe, reliable manner. Performs other maintenance functions within the theme park and assist other maintenance Model Citizens as deemed necessary by the Facilities Supervisor and Manager.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supervise, train, lead and mentor a team of Facility Technicians to ensure client requests are fulfilled and primary job responsibilities are performed.
- Assist supervisor in conducting regular staff meetings to discuss current and upcoming activities and events, work processes, and business expectations.
- Manage team work schedules and time off to ensure proper coverage and workloads.
- Expected to be familiar with Merlin policies and procedures and customer policies and procedures as they relate to your position and job description.
- Expected to be familiar with the layout of the facilities, location of rides, storage rooms, retail shops, restaurants, data centers, mechanical and equipment rooms and warehouse and loading docks.
- Manage the work request system in conjunction with supervisor and Facilities Manager to insure that requests are completed on a timely basis.
- Perform spot inspections of the facilities particularly in the customer-facing areas and common areas, and inspect facilities informally for carpet stains, marks on walls that need touch-up, damaged or stained ceiling tiles, bent or broken window blinds, etc.
- Perform or oversee daily inspections of each facility to include the exterior and interior of each location and inspect the entire facility regularly and report finding to the supervisor and or Facilities Manager.
- Provide bi-weekly and monthly reports to the Facilities Manager; updating him on the current status of any projects, open service requests, and related tasks.
- Expected to be familiar with the specifications for, and work with the Facilities Technicians in overseeing and coordinating with service vendors for General Maintenance Services to insure that they are complying with the terms of their contracts and that the overall quality of the property is being maintained in an “as new” condition.
- Work in conjunction with the Supervisor and Facilities Manager to prepare specifications, bid packages, and conduct the bid process.
- Work in conjunction with the Supervisor and Facilities Manager to prepare take-offs for coming projects to ensure that we have the proper materials to do the job.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of supplies and materials; properly source and place orders for both routine and emergency items.
- Work in conjunction with the Supervisor and Facilities Manager, and Facilities Technicians to coordinate and carry out moves, re-configurations, and furniture requests
- Has working knowledge of common landscape, trees, plants and groundcover; proper horticultural practices and procedures; common irrigation materials and methods.
- Keep tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean and proper working order.
- Keep safety as #1 priority.
- Completes daily time and material (T&M) cards prior to leaving property.
- Assists in preparing and submitting time cards for his/her MCs.
- Maintains liaison with fellow maintenance MCs and other departments.
- Performs related maintenance work as deemed necessary or required.
- Attentive to the safety of self, fellow employees and the public.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient performance of MCs.
- Attends weekly staff meetings.
- Utilize techniques and tools necessary to perform safely while performing their work.
- Ensure proper PPE is always used as applicable.
- Attend and assist the Supervisor and Facilities Manager in conducting weekly meetings and safety meetings. Observe safety procedures to maintain an accident-free environment.
- Expected to know your assigned procedures for various emergency situations and respond accordingly should they occur.
- Assist the Supervisor and Facilities Manager with leading the Facilities Operation staff on all assigned projects, goals, routine inspections, work orders and project request.
- Assist the Supervisor and Facilities Manager track
