**Position Summary**:
The person in this role will support the warehouse/stockroom and be responsible for inventory records including counting, storing, records comparison, and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom daily.

**Responsibilities**:

- Counts materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. Posts totals to inventory records.
- Stocks and issues materials or merchandise.
- Compares actual inventories to records; computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to determine current inventory.
- Able to handle pressure smoothly and productively.
- Handle unexpected challenges with a positive outlook.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years general knowledge of warehouse/stockroom environment.
- Must have basic math skills, read pick lists, data printouts, bills of material and other documents. Accuracy of data entry, accounts and record keeping is essential.
- General knowledge of warehouse/stockroom procedures crucial.
- Must be detail-oriented with good mathematical abilities.
- Must have ability to work as a team member to achieve the company’s quality and production standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with production employees and managers, often under stressful conditions.
- Ability to key in data, type, and operate a computer keyboard needed.
- Skills to operate raw material cutting equipment.
- Must be flexible with overtime and weekends, as necessary.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Some college-level business-related courses preferred.
