**Role and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for invoicing (creation of invoices in the system, monitoring of contractual clauses and payments)
- Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
- Customer payment collection and follow-up.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience and Sales teams to ensure all data is up to date
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with internal departments and external clients to reach satisfactory resolutions
- Transverse projects linked to system integration and/or migration, cleaning databases, documentation
- Ensure compliance with international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements

**Essential Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using billing software and financial systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and Excel Knowledge
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of billing transactions.

**Preferred** **Qualifications**
- Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Experience in a startup or scaleup environment
- Experience in driving process improvement
