**Overview**:The Associate Director of Human Resources (Talent Management & Acquisition) is integral to shaping our talent strategies. This key role, reporting directly to the C-Suite, focuses on enhancing talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and retention practices to align with the strategic goals with the corresponding opportunities to add value in talent management. Tasked with managing operational efficiencies of teams in the recruitment lifecycle, this position ensures the attraction and integration of outstanding talent by collaborating with leaders to tailor workforce strategies. A keystone of success in the role also includes leading a team of recruiters dedicated to building a diverse and capable workforce, continually refining recruitment approaches by analyzing pertinent metrics, keeping pace with sector trends, and adopting industry best practices. This role also partners closely with other functional and technical areas in the business and human resources to optimize our overall employee value proposition.

**Areas of Contribution & Core Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Lead, manage, and enhance a team of recruiters to meet the organization's talent acquisition needs effectively.
- Work collaboratively with department leaders to pinpoint staffing requirements and devise workforce planning strategies.
- Continuously refine recruitment processes to attract, select, and onboard top talent efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and uphold the organization's employer brand to attract top talent and boost the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate barriers to equity in recruitment and hiring practices.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to gauge the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement best practices that optimize the recruitment process.
- Provide day-to-day support to employees and address queries about recruitment and organizational policies.
- Advise and guide department management staff and employees on effective methods and procedures for attracting a diverse pool of applicants.
- Manage and support ATS database(s), ensuring accurate data input, reporting, and integration with HRIS systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR,SHRM-CP, CCP, CBP, CEBS, Talent related), a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, total rewards, including experience in a leadership role, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to recruitment and selection.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technology platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct analysis, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to handle complex issues with an employee-centric focus and exceptional organizational skills.
- Working ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, employee representatives and the public.
- Previous work experience with labor unions a plus, not required.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish fluency), a plus - but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse races, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expression, socio-economic backgrounds, religions, ages, English-speaking abilities, immigration statuses, and physical abilities in a multicultural environment.
