**Role Overview**

The Yoga instructor will lead classes for young students, teaching them the fundamentals of yoga, including postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices. The role involves creating a nurturing and supportive environment where students can explore yoga and its benefits.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Instruction: Conduct yoga sessions that are engaging and appropriate for 1st to 3rd grade students, focusing on basic poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.
- Curriculum Development: Develop a yoga curriculum that is tailored to the developmental needs of young children, promoting physical health and emotional well-being.
- Student Engagement: Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to participate actively and enjoy their yoga practice.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor the students' progress in yoga practice, providing feedback and adjustments to meet their individual needs.
- Safety and Well-being: Ensure all yoga activities are safe and conducive to the students' overall well-being.

**Schedule**
- Classes will be held in the afternoon, with specific times to be followed.
- **Summer Program**

**Qualifications**
- **Professional Experience**: Proven experience in teaching yoga, especially to young children or in a school setting.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage young students and foster a love for yoga.
- **Empathy and Patience**: A patient and empathetic approach, capable of nurturing young students’ physical and emotional development.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs and abilities of young children.
