Job Title: After School Instructor

East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) is seeking a qualified After School Instructor to join our team. As an After School Instructor, you will work with students in grades TK-5, providing academic and/or enrichment programming in-person or virtually.

Job Summary

The After School Instructor will be responsible for developing and implementing project-based lessons aligned with the program and/or school-day goals. You will work closely with students, parents, and program staff to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project-based lessons for students in grades TK-5
  • Provide academic support and enrichment programming in-person or virtually
  • Assess and communicate with parents about student progress
  • Participate in program staff meetings and trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Completion of 48 college semester units or successful completion of the Instructional Aid (IA) exam
  • Clear TB test and FBI/DOJ background check
  • At least two years of teaching or academic tutoring experience
  • Experience working with elementary age students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong classroom management and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
