**REPORTS TO**: General Manager and Head Doughpuncher

**SALARY / GRADE LEVEL**:Hourly / Non-Exempt

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES**:

- Learning and honing the craft of baking from our skilled bakers
- Shaping, proofing and baking a variety of unique breads and pastries
- Mixing various doughs and starters while maintaining consistent quality and schedule
- Dipping and baking the best pretzels in town
- Maintaining cleanliness
- Checking in and putting away deliveries

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong work ethic, reliable and have a strong attention to detail
- Previous bread and pastry experience is preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of bakery production equipment
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
- Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace
- Current Texas Food Handlers certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and to work standing for 8+ hours
