Part-time Bookkeeper

The Fort Orange Club in downtown Albany is one of upstate New York's premier private club with a long-standing reputation for outstanding service to our members and their guests. We have an opening for a dependable and motivated **Part-Time Bookkeeper** to join our team.

Duties

Essential Functions:

- Process accounts payables including, but not limited to, processing bills for vendors and suppliers.
- Process accounts receivables including, but not limited to, member dues and counter sales.
- Assist with payroll processing..
- Data entry in accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Review and post daily sales, correct information as needed, and prepare daily bank deposit.
- General Office Duties

Additional Job Duties:

- All other duties as assigned by Director of Finance and/or General Manger.

Job Requirements

Required:

- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments.
- Self-starter with high level of organization skills.

Preferred:

- 3+ years of experience in all areas of bookkeeping.
- Degree in accounting or related area.
- Accounting experience in a private club.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week

**Benefits**:

- Paid sick time
