We are seeking a Kitchen Design and Sales Professional for our Port Chester, NY showroom. We are looking for a self-starter who will have a high degree of ownership in client projects and will be actively involved in growing our business. Kitchen and bath design education or experience required, and experience in 2020 Design software required. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, preparing designs and proposals, closing sales, preparing cabinet orders, traveling to job sites throughout the duration of the project, managing projects with office support and in-house contracting company, DTF Rosemount LLC.

Responsibilities include:

- Full-time position, retail hours with occasional Saturdays as needed by clients
- Meet with clients in our design studio and in their homes/project site
- Design kitchen and bathroom layouts in 20-20 design program as well as occasional hand sketch
- Develop comprehensive bid packages and present to clients, designers and contractors
- Create design elevations, renderings and installation drawings
- Become knowledgeable in the various cabinet lines and create complete cabinet manufacturer orders
- Meet with contractors to coordinate installation of cabinets
- Support the showroom and team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with local builders, architects, and designers
- Support operations with marketing strategies, business development, project management software
- Be knowledgeable of kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and complementary items such as tile, hardware or countertops in a friendly customer-oriented environment

Skills/Qualifications required:

- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Familiar with Quickbooks is preferred
- Proficient in 2020 Design
- Familiar or able to learn Asana project management software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings
- Strong project management skills
- Team player
- Ability to travel to job sites

Benefits and Compensation:
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
