We invite you to join our highly dynamic team as a Diabetes Educator II. This position helps cover ambulatory diabetes education needs throughout our Scripps Health organization across San Diego county and will conduct one-on-one patient visits (in-person and virtual) as well as group nutrition counseling classes.
**Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills**:
- A minimum of two years providing diabetes education as an RN or RD required.
**Required Certification/Registration**:
- Current BLS
- Certified Diabetes Educator certification (CDCES) required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of California as an RN or Registered Dietitian credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
**Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification**:
- For RNs, a bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred
Position Pay Range: $36.73-$55.10/hour
