Corrections Education Specialist II

The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department of Corrections is seeking a skilled Corrections Education Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Adult Institutions, you will play a vital role in providing education and rehabilitation services to our inmate population.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to promote inmate rehabilitation and reduce recidivism rates
- Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure seamless integration of education services into daily operations
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to inmates, fostering a positive and productive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in corrections, education, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
