Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic II to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic II, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing tractors and trailers, operating a yard hostler truck when necessary, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Operate a yard hostler truck to transport equipment and supplies.
- Order and receive parts and supplies in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment.
- Use welding equipment to repair and maintain equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in diesel engine, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in tractor and trailer maintenance.
Education
- High school diploma preferred.
Compensation
$26 - $28/hour.
