We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
- Prepare and organize operating rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and within reach.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient information, surgical procedures, and inventory management.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the surgical process.
- One (1) year of operating room or military equivalent experience in a scrub role within the last two (2) years or recent completion of an operating room training program.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate within 6 months of hire from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting OR National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery within 6 months of hire from National Center for Competency Testing.
- Basic Life Support certification.
