**Position Highlights**: The primary responsibilities for day-to-day are planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning and cost accounting.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- The fiduciary responsibility of enforcing the operating procedures and policies
- Ensure the financial results report conforms with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) together with financial and accounting policies
- Ability to understand all aspects of the computerized accounting system deployed in the operating divisions, and utilize the system to its full capabilities
- Responsible for the budgeting process and must ensure that all budgets input to the computerized accounting system always reflect out contractual or estimated contractual liabilities
- Responsible for the preparation and reliability of all financial projections for internal distribution and also for developer partners (participation calculations)
- Responsible for all banking activities being executed per policies and procedures issued by Division
- Ability to perform in both the financial and operational segments of the business
- Other duties as assigned

**Position Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in accounting/finance required
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting or a related field
- CPA preferred
- Advanced PC skills, including Excel knowledge
- JD Edwards experience preferred
- Home Building industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
- Proven knowledge of internal controls & SOX compliance

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- ** Base Salary**: The expected base salary range for this position is between $154,900-195,600 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
- ** Bonus**: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
