Part-time Sign Language Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver dynamic sign language lessons that cater to the needs and skill levels of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the success of each student.
- Stay updated on best practices in sign language instruction and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Sign Language Studies, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture.
- Previous experience teaching sign language to students of various ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Schedule**: Part-Time, Flexible Hours

**Location**: Wilmette, IL or Nearby Areas
