**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care Assistance**: Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures under the supervision of dermatologists.
- **Surgical Support**: Assist in preparing patients for dermatologic surgeries, including setting up surgical trays, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- **Patient Information Management**: Accurately enter and maintain patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- **Administrative Duties**: Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and coordinating patient referrals.
**Requirements**:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and certification preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling patient records and assisting with procedures.
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
