**Posting Summary**
- Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Office Assistant for the
Rutgers Equity Alliance for Community Health (REACH).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

- Provides administrative support to four Rutgers Equity Alliance for Community Health (REACH) Collaboratives Learning Tables (CLT) including scheduling monthly meetings and ad hoc meetings.
- Attends all CLT meetings, both virtual and in person, that will generally occur on a monthly basis, record minutes of each meeting and distribute minutes to CLT members.
- Provides logístical support in planning one annual conference per CLT focused on the specific social determinant of health on which the CLT is focused.
- Provides administrative support as needed to CLT faculty leads and community leads to ensure timely sharing of information with all table members.
- Coordinates workload through ongoing meetings with CLT faculty lead and CLT content coach.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

**Certifications/Licenses**

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Educational or professional understanding and experience in one or more of the specific social determinants of health on which REACH focuses: Education, Employment, Food Access & Food Security, Housing and Population Health.
- One-to two-year commitment to serving in this role.
- Experience working in or having lived in one of REACH’s three cities of focus: Camden, New Brunswick, Newark.
- Strong interest in working as part of an academic/community partnership team aimed at improving outcomes in adverse social determinants of health.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Commitment to decreasing health disparities by addressing adverse social determinants of health.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a majority remote, autonomous setting.
- Strong time management skills.
