Medical Assistant

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care

**Skills**:

- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and maintain patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records
- Understanding of basic physiology and the ability to explain medical procedures to patients in an easily understandable manner

This is a full time position consisting of 33 hours per week. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm; and Saturday & Sunday 6:45am - 11:15am.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
