Position Summary:
The Order Processing & Fulfillment Technician provides support services in typing, preparing, packaging, and dispensing pharmaceuticals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assists in preparing and dispensing office use orders in bulk.
- Performs all office use duties, accurately types orders, dispenses products, maintains records and inventory.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of office use products.
- Reads and understands prescriber orders for office use medications.
- Labels boxes with ordered medications.
- Checks stock to determine inventory levels; anticipates needed products and supplies; places and expedites orders; removes outdated products; puts away products throughout the day in an orderly manner to assure area is organized.
- Maintains production standards and levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the campus. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Must be able to lift to 30 pounds.

Experience and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED, required.- Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or obtain a Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the interim.
- One year of experience in packaging or dispensing.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
