Status: Full-time Hourly/Non-Exempt

**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
- Be part of the phone rotation, answering incoming calls in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customers.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Manage quote preparation, sales order in-put and revision processing, purchase order review and processing.
- Provide customer quotes and ensure accurate pricing in a timely manner, either same-day or within 24 hours.
- Maintain quotes in Company Quote Log as directed by Sales Manager.
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Coordinate requests from Field Sales Group (Independent Reps, Distributors, Regional Managers) to insure quick and timely responses.
- Accurate updating and maintenance of the Sage Accounting Program as directed by Supervisor.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Sales Manager and/or President.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- HS Diploma/GED
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
- 5+ years of proven account management or customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with International shipment documentation, quoting and scheduling desired.
- Experience in anticipating and delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Mechanical aptitude to read specification prints/drawings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation project management and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to utilize technical tools to improve sales performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook required.

Ability to work well with others in an office and manufacturing shop environment, possess good work ethics, and a positive attitude.
