DELIVERY DRIVER/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

United Fastener & Supply’s mission is to provide its customers with quality products on a timely basis. The products include fasteners, gage and fixture components, abrasives, cutting tools, triggers and other supplies for manufacturing.

Working as a full-time Delivery Driver/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining VMI programs, delivering products and assisting with customer service. You must have a strong interest in supporting the company’s efforts to satisfy our customers with good customer service.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the company’s sales and customer service activities.
Delivering products that the customer ordered to locations throughout West Michigan.
Taking stock of vendor managed inventory at customers’ locations.
Stocking parts into bins and vending machines.
Communicating with customers regarding delivery statuses.
Taking notice of potential new products that customers may be interested in.

Assisting with warehouse distribution activities, including product receiving, stocking, order fulfillment and shipping preparation.

Position Qualifications:
Possess a current, valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for operating a company vehicle.
Ability to lift and carry packages that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
