**VCUarts Summer Pre-College Teaching Assistant**

**Description of the Job**:
**Responsibilities include**:

- Complete required youth training
- Assist Instructor with the overall skills development of the students through discussion, critique, evaluation for the duration of the course
- Chaperone students while in buildings
- Escort students to facilities when needed
- Ensure quality and effectiveness of the Summer Pre-College Program
- Enforce Program policies and procedures at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or course Instructor

**Required Qualifications**:

- BFA degree, or current BFA/MFA student
- High energy, enthusiastic
- Enjoy working with creative and passionate students
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of VCUarts campus, equipment and resources
