The primary objective of the Hospital Clinical Specialist - Diagnostic is to encourage the use of DiaSorin’s LIAISON® MeMed BV® test in the hospital setting - with emergency medicine and infectious disease departments. DiaSorin’s LIAISON® MeMed BV® test complements conventional technologies, providing actionable information and better informed antiviral and antibiotic treatment decisions allowing for rapid and accurate diagnosis.

The successful incumbent will develop significant market presence for DiaSorin and help create demand and drive sales of DiaSorin’s LIAISON® MeMed BV® test amongst hospital personnel who treat active infections.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- 4-year degree from an accredited University required.
- 5 plus years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry required.
- 2 plus years of hospital sales experience required; infectious disease strongly preferred
- Diagnostics experience highly preferred.
- Nursing experience in infectious disease or emergency room setting a strong plus.
- Superior selling skills focused on providing a high level of customer service, proven track record of success in competitive selling environment.
- Documented sales results, including examples of company awards and achievements
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
- Territory management skills in managing large geographies. Overnight travel expected.
- Residence and experience with local hospitals within the current geography is required.

The potential base pay range for this role is $120,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
