- Ensure compliance with all applicable PPE and Food Safety policies and procedures, wear steel-tipped shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Review and interpret Print Master for job requirements.
- Work together and coordinate work of support crews ensuring raw materials, cylinders, plates, doctor blades, inks, and supplies are staged and ready for efficient job changeover.
- Ensure crew members complete tasks safely and per Fresco procedures efficiently and timely.
- Operate main OCS, HMI panels, and print inspection system.
- Set machine conditions such as temperatures, tensions, registration and impression.
- Ensure accurate capture of time, speeds, materials, defects, downtime, and problems affecting quality and waste.
- Monitor and interpret X-rite and Lab readings.
- Troubleshoot and correct problems related to quality, waste, speed, and throughput.
- Ensure effective shift changes by communicating all relevant job requirements, machine conditions, and quality affecting the product and equipment.
- Assist in care and maintenance of equipment with assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
- Coach and train assistants and support crews and communicate development to Supervisor.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.

- 2+ years' experience as a Flexographic Press Helper or Changeover technician possessing a basic knowledge/understanding of tension control, drying/ventilation, print impression, print deck registration, color rotation, ink dispensing, plate, anilox, and doctor blades and their correlation to product quality and efficiency.
- Good work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
- Must be flexible for shift assignments and be available for overtime as required including weekends.
- Motivated and collaborative within a team environment.
