**Duties**:

- You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIT (INFORMATION SECURITY) in the CMSA LANT NORFOLK, VA 23511, NETWORK ENGR DIV N66, CYBERSPACE OPERATIONS DEPT N6, COMMAND GROUP-CMSA LANT N00, NORFOLK, VA.
- You will perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities for staff consisting of IT Specialists (GS-2210-12/13) and Information Technicians (E5/E6).
- You will be the primary systems engineering technical advisor to the N6 Department Head and point of contact to all external organizations.
- You will lead projects for all significant development efforts in the department of a technical nature which requires coordination with multiple groups of civilian, military, and contract personnel.
- You will develop new methods, techniques, corrective actions, and solutions to highly complex problem sets to address current and future operational challenges and critical process bottlenecks.
- You will ensure the highest degree of system and network availability to meet critical mission requirements and resolved unique problems associated with specialized mission system networks.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current CYBERSECURITY certification.

**Qualifications**:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:

- Experience performing systems administration and enterprise IT architecture theories, principles, concepts, and methods sufficient to design and manage CMSA LANT systems that meet current and future business requirements; to evaluate, identify, and resolve negative impacts on current and planned IT architectures; and to develop and oversee the implementation of migration strategies and sequencing plans for continuity of operations during fielding of new systems.
