**The Opportunity**

The responsibilities of the Office Manager are to support and assist program directors with tasks necessary for an efficient operation; to assist administration and staff in meeting its obligations in accordance with the mission of Specialized Education Services, Inc (SESI). These responsibilities include campus and stakeholder support, work accuracy, and a high level of professionalism.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Understands and implements SESI’s philosophy, policy and procedures relating to conduct, discipline, educational and attendance outcomes for students, staff and parents.
- Orders and maintains adequate school and office supplies and within designated budget requirements. Ensures proper delivery and reviews charges for accuracy. Notifies vendor if there are any discrepancies and ensures corrections are made.
- Maintains confidentiality and privacy of personnel, business and other confidential, sensitive, electronic proprietary information of SESI and their current and past employees and current and past students.
- Ensures state, municipal and federal compliance in upholding and enforcing school records.
- Maintain DMRS (district management referral system), tracking student referrals, sources, and intakes.
- Distribution of school mail. Uses discretion in disseminating information. Is highly guarded with confidential information.
- Receptionist duties as required - Answers phone calls and greets visitors and treats them in a professional manner. Directs call to appropriate person or screens calls as directed. Use judgment in interacting with employees and outside parties.
- Handles school purchasing and submitting of receipts for expense reports
- Creates and distributes monthly newsletter
- Completes behavior reports using online data tracking system
- Keeps vendor files
- Coordinates website updates
- Manages medication administration and administers first aid
- Creates and processes IT orders as needed
- Record-keeping regarding staff and student files
- Maintains system/log of compliance components of a program including trainings, documentation, tasks, etc.
- Coordinates staff completion of required in person and electronic professional development courses
- Enter data around enrollment, attendance, behavioral incidents, test scores as needed
- Exhibits professional conduct with school colleagues, students and their parents in accordance with SESI policies, procedures and work rules.
- Performs other duties as assigned and to be determined based upon SESI needs and business requirements. Checks in with directors and regional leadership team regularly to assess needs.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- advanced education preferred
- Ability to operate office equipment including, phone systems, printers, faxes, copies computers
- Experience working in school setting preferred
