**ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY**:
he purpose of the Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce at the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences is to support an adequate, highly skilled, resilient, and innovative workforce that meets the current and future human resources needs of the state?s behavioral health system in order to provide high-quality care, services, and support to Floridians with, or at risk of developing, behavioral health conditions through original research, policy analysis, evaluation, and development and dissemination of best practices. The goals of the center are, at a minimum, to research the state's current behavioral health workforce and future needs; expand the number of clinicians, professionals, and other workers involved in the behavioral health workforce; and enhance the skill level and innovativeness of the workforce.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Provide skilled and confidential administrative support to the Executive Director and the Center. Respond to inquiries to the Center. Serve as a liaison with other USF offices, and the behavioral health community at large, managing the flow of communication. Explain policies, answer questions, and independently resolve problems whenever feasible.

Administer calendar for Executive Director. Plan, prioritize and schedule meetings and appointments. Coordinate reservations for rooms. Arrange and coordinate travel and travel reimbursement for Executive Director.

Perform specialized administrative duties required to support the Center using discretion to make judgments based on operating guidelines. Position may create and develop relevant reports and may assist with departmental special events.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:
**MINIMUM**:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least five years of experience in an office or administrative support position or a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience. Additional education may not be substituted for this experience requirement.

**PREFERRED**:
Strong organizational skills. Strategic planning and scheduling, time-management, and verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Quick-learning skills. Detail-oriented.
