As Policy Issuance Coordinator you will be a team player performing a variety of tasks directly supporting the Underwriting Assistants and Underwriters including information gathering from underwriting documents to accurately issue policies and endorsements for new business, renewals, and midterm changes. Must understand and effectively utilize corporate computer systems and provide quality service to both internal and external customers.

You will collaborate with underwriting, claims and operations staff as needed to perform tasks and work effectively as a team. You will work with a high performing team by embracing and understanding team and unit goals.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Prepare files for policy typing and ensure all required documents are received.
- Produce policies and midterm endorsements in Genius system with accuracy in accordance with documents provided by Underwriting Assistants/Underwriters.
- Ensure that each policy issued is properly tagged in the Genius system to indicate completion.
- Alert Underwriting Assistant/Underwriters when information is missing within the policy.
- Manage any necessary corrections discovered by an assistant in a timely manner.
- Follow company policy, procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Save all documents in customer e-file and Document Storage System (iDoc/CMX) as instructed.
- Gain a better understanding of policy forms and endorsements.
- Work as a team to achieve group goals.
- Continue to improve quality of your work with extra focus and attention to detail.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Working closely with the other members of the Underwriting Support Team.

You will report to Operations Manager.
