Reporting to the Manager of Production Planning, the Co-manufacturing Production Planner will play a key role in our company growth. Duties will include creating weekly production schedules, initiating and monitoring work orders with co-manufacturer, and working collaboratively with cross functional partners.
What You Will Do
- Schedule production for make to stock perishable products in a capacity constrained environment based on weekly production volume requirements set by Master planning
- Coordinate Weekly Packaging plan with Co-Manufacturer and Green supplier
- Coordinate with green coffee planner to ensure green coffee blend work orders are timely created.
- Partner with co-manufacturer to accurately close work orders with right quantity, batch numbers and purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain production plan to achieve target inventory and service levels
- Utilize the ERP system to streamline and correctly reflect expected delivery dates and quantities
- Work with the Replenishment Planning team to prioritize deliveries to Distribution Centers.
- Update and maintain planning parameters within MRP system to accurately reflect component requirement dates
- Support planning and capacity management process improvements
- Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order
- Track actual versus planned production. (Production Attainment)
- Understand root cause(s) of failures and initiate actions required to ensure smooth/uninterrupted operations.
- Support Production Planning Manager in S&OE processes.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of Planning and Scheduling experience
- Experience with production scheduling and planning in discrete and process manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and concepts including inventory management, sales and operations execution (S&OE).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
- Proven innovative and critical thinking abilities
- MS office skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Peet’s Home Office is a Hybrid worksite, which requires Home Office employees to work onsite 3 days per week._

The target annual base salary range for this position is _$89,000 - $101,000_._ The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
