**What you will do**

The Sales Representative's mission is to work in the field generating sales, leads, referrals, performing on-roof inspections, signing contracts, meeting insurance adjusters, writing and providing estimates, and formally contracting the job. **Our Sales Representatives are expected to deliver exceptional customer experience with honesty, integrity.**

**The Sales Representative role is broken into 3 areas**

**Phase 1** - Prospecting, networking, cold calling, selling, performing property inspections, contingency and/or service agreements, assisting property owners in the insurance claim process after storms and or catastrophic events.

**Phase 2** - Meeting insurance adjusters, scoping the project, create a formal outline that outline work/damages with the insurance company, formally contracting the job with property owners.

**Phase 3** - Estimating and supplementing, learning a variety of advanced roofing systems, and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior trades (siding, gutters, windows). Assisting the company in the collection of any progress payments, and/or final checks from the property owner.

- Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, Sales Managers, Coordinators, Field Trainers, and the Owner.
- Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a Sales Associate.
- Learn Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform. This training is key to our long-term success as an industry Sales Associate.
- Keep production and accounts receivable department aware of any changes in your jobs, or customer demands, change orders, or other pertinent information.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Achieve a minimum of $100,000 in monthly contracted sales, that is actual jobs turned into build (during the peak selling months of March to November).
- Minimum monthly threshold would equate to approximately $1M in revenue in a calendar year. This would be our goal, target and quest of each industry sales associate.

**Work Environment**

Mighty Dog Roofing’s Sales role will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks. The Sales Representative will be required to climb a ladder and conduct assessments and measurements on residential and commercial roofs from time to time. This role will report directly to the Franchise Owner(s) based in SW Chicago Suburbs.

**Position type / Expected Hours**

This is a full-time position; some on-site projects are likely to require early mornings and late afternoons beyond a typical ‘9 to 5’ job. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required. Weekends as needed.

**Compensation**:

- 1099 contract
- Commission pay (uncapped)

**Work Location**: Hybrid remote in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL (Downer's Grove, Naperville, LaGrange).

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
