Buyer Payment Representative

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a Buyer Payment Specialist to join our corporate team in Westchester, IL

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive walk-in payments from buyers at corporate office.
- Work with Treasury to resolve payment issues.
- Collect NSF payments and update activity logs.
- Post payment adjustments and reversals.
- Process credit card refunds for canceled buyer registrations.
- Refund buyer account credits.
- Process refund requests from branch locations.
- Research and respond to requests for sales tax refunds.
- Reconcile reports and settle vehicles financed through flooring companies.
- Reconcile and resolve unapplied wire transfers.
- Assist with daily deposit reconciliations and other tasks required by management.
- Assist with the review and processing Proof-of-Export documentation from exporters purchasing in the State of Texas.
- Research and dispute credit card chargebacks and update management reports.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Update documentation for issues and inquiries.
- Function as liaison between customers and branches.
- Provide language support, if applicable.

**Competencies**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must be proficient in the use of Outlook & Word
- Exceptional Excel skills are necessary
- Must be team player as effective interaction with coworkers essential
- Organization skills and eye for detail necessary
- Must have open availability between 7 am and 6 pm. Hours may vary anywhere within this timeframe.
- Must have desire and ability to provide highest level of quality customer service
- Strong telephone skills required
