**Position Summary**:
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**:
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work are between 8:45 am - 4:30 pm weekdays. Due to the company’s performance schedule, the Costume Shop operates from the third week of July until the end of May yearly.

**Position Requirements**:

- Excellent draping, pattern making & cutting skills
- A knowledge of tailoring, although not essential, is appreciated
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Advanced sewing skills required for both machine & hand sewing
- Experience with ballet costumes, tutus, & stretch fabric is highly desired
- Knowledge & experience with women’s costumes/clothes
- At least 5 years professional costume shop experience required
- Must complete work in a time sensitive manner
- Must be able to work onsite 35 hours per week
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Proficiency in Polish and/or Russian is helpful
