About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a Nurse Practitioner at Tia, you'll play a vital role in delivering primary and gynecological care to our patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to create a care model that is centered around the needs and experiences of women.

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our patients, providing them with personalized care and support. You'll also be involved in the development and implementation of our care model, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and gynecological care to patients, including annual exams, pap smears, and other routine screenings
  • Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and anxiety/depression
  • Perform procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, and colposcopies
  • Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
Requirements
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Experience in primary and gynecological care, preferably in a women's health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
