- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine clients' mental health status
- Collaborate with licensed counselors and therapists to develop integrated treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations and best practices
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding medication management and mental health wellness strategies
- Monitor clients' response to treatment and adjust medication regimens as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as necessary to ensure holistic and coordinated treatment approaches
- Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to review client progress and treatment plans

*Requirements:

- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric-Mental Health NP preferred)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in [Texas], with prescriptive authority for psychotropic medications
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) preferred
- Experience working in mental health or psychiatric settings, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation practices
