Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and manage post-operative patients
  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to anticipate complex patient problems and communicate effectively with the surgical team
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies, making medical recommendations as needed
Requirements:
  • Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN - NP
  • Current RN First Assist Certification and specialty certification as required by department
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or specialty certification as required by department
  • Masters in Nursing as NP or Masters degree in Nursing with completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program
