**Duties**:

- You will prepare, edit, finalize and format correspondence, routing correspondence for signature according to department standards.
- You will maintain office filing, organization charts, rosters, muster charts, and training logs.
- You will manage conference room calendars, maintain leadership calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings both on and off center, prepare visit requests (including foreign visits) and receiving and directing visitors.
- You will initiate travel orders (including foreign travel), complete travel vouchers, and maintain transportation records.
- You will manage telephone resources, maintain office equipment, ensure the office is appropriately supplied which includes ordering routine supplies, dealing professionally with customers, and assist in coordinating training requests.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

**Qualifications**:

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

**Education**:
**The following education may be substituted for specialized experience**:
4 years of post high school education.

This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

If you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you must submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned) in your resume. **Additional information**:
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
