Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Housekeeping to join our team. As the Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department in a hotel setting. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

**Duties**:

- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of cleanliness
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest requests and special cleaning projects
- Oversee laundry operations, including the proper handling and laundering of linens and uniforms
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services in a prompt and professional manner

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using housekeeping software systems for inventory management and scheduling

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
