Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our resort housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with resort leadership to set goals and objectives for the housekeeping department.
  • Analyze data and make adjustments to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Execute and maintain quality control systems and budgets.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.
  • Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
