**Duties**:

- You will support NAVWAR HQ Contracting Officers in pre and post contract award activities.
- You will provide input into the IT budget management process including formulations, execution, and other administrative support.
- You will maintain continuity with managers regarding project management issues including resources, information assurance, reviewing customer requirements and service calls for hardware/software/network and IT services.
- You will provide sound contractual advice and assume a leadership role while acting as an advisor on the acceptability and applicability of contractual matters relating to the various programs that may result in new SOW requirements.
- You will serve as the APM, Contracts Administration responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and managing the full range of contract administration.
- You will prepare and update Statements of Work (SOW) for area of responsibility and oversee SOW preparations by project and account managers.
- You will monitor labor hours, other direct costs (ODCs) and total expenditures on deliveries, and monthly status reports.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following**:_Managing the full range of contract administration and oversight functions for Information Technology programs._**
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

**Education**:
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

**Additional information**:
This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.

The pay schedule and pay band for all Administrative Specialist/Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4/5/6.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 3), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS-14 at $167,276 (Adjusted Pay).*

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may or may not be authorized to eligible selectees.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
