**A Day in the Life**:
The Human Resources Manager position is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of human resources policies and programs, which may include recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, and compensation and benefits planning. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA. This position will work closely with the AVP, Human Resources to support employee relations and continue to build on our culture to make NGL a great place to work.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction
- Build and maintain high-performing teams including selecting, developing, coaching, rewarding and recognizing employees.
- Champion or sponsor cross-functional business initiatives or improvements and delegate project responsibilities where appropriate for growth opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day operational and workforce risks to ensure NGL processes adhere to industry, regulatory, and workplace compliance standards.
- Create alignment within teams and processes by increasing collaboration and defining talent development paths and opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implements organizational human resource policies and ensures they remain up to date
- Supervises Human Resources staff to ensure achievement of department objectives
- Provides information on compliance with federal, state and local legislation to include EEO, FMLA, FLSA and works with the team to ensure we meet compliance
- Develops processes for recruiting, onboarding and offboarding for employees that fit with the NGL culture
- Collaborates with the team on salary structures and job alignment to develop a consistent process for job descriptions, pricing and compensation guidelines
- Collaborates with the team on Benefits, recognition and rewards to align with the NGL culture
- Assists Senior management in developing human resource strategies
- Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department

**Essential to Your Success**:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and persuade
- Proven, effective leadership skills within the HR department, as well as, within the company’s management group
- Proven evidence of practicing a high level of confidentiality and professional demeanor in order to ensure credibility among the management group

- Strong working knowledge and experience with federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements
- Strong working knowledge and experience with employee benefit and compensation programs

Education Requirements:

- Minimum: 4 year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Psychology or Human Resources

Years of Experience:

- A minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources
