The Appointment and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling appointments for patients across three clinic sites and serves as back-up for the Front Office Specialist to assist with new patient registration and patient check-in when needed.

Stong customer service and interpersonal skills are required. This position interacts with a variety of individuals who are impacted by homelessness and who have complex health needs, often including behavioral health needs.

Technical skills required are familiarity with an electronic health record (preferable EPIC), small office equipment (photo copier, scanner, fax machine, telephone, computer), and basic MS Office suite, including Outlook. This position is supported by the operations team, including front desk personnel, community health workers, clinical teams and the operations management team. It also requires entering data into the Homeless Mangement Information System (HMIS).
