A leading neurology clinic is collaborating with Team1Medical to find an Appointment Coordinator who will support the administrative team by managing appointment scheduling and various clerical tasks. This role is essential for those looking to make a positive impact in the healthcare community.

Responsibilities of the Appointment Coordinator
  • Manage appointment scheduling as per requests.
  • Assist with faxing and scanning documents into patient records.
  • Utilize EPIC's work queue for scheduling and accommodating appointments.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct messages to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications for the Appointment Coordinator
  • Certification from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in scheduling is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Epic, the EMR Program, is strongly preferred.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination is a requirement.
