**1. Applicant lead generation**
a. Seek out employment fairs and sources of applicant referrals
b. Plans placement of employment fliers in the community, offices, church offices, YMCAs, etc.
c. Placing employment ads

**2. Maintain Scheduling of Caregivers ** a. Monitors scheduling system to assure accuracy and adjusts accordingly b. Arranges for caregiver coverage for sick calls and vacation time c. Maintains record of requested vacation time d. Enters records of absenteeism and cancellations in scheduling system. e. Gets approval for any OT prior to assigning shifts

**3. Move applicants through the Interview process **a. Review potential applicants and complete pre-screening call
b. Interview qualified applicants
c. Complete reference checks, drug screening and criminal background checks

**4. Orientation of new employees ** a. Establish group or individual orientations
b. Collect necessary outstanding documentation from employees

**5. On-boarding and management of new caregivers **a. Enters new caregivers into systems (ersp, payroll)

**6. Maintaining sufficient staffing**
a. Continually monitor and address staffing needs b. Maintain a bench of caregivers
c. The following goals based on average of 50 clients per bench

**i. **Maintain a bench of 15-20 caregivers for daytime hours **ii. **Maintain a bench of 10-15 caregivers for evening hours **iii. **Maintain a bench of 10 caregivers that can work weekends **iv. **Maintain a bench of 5-10 caregivers able to work overnights

**7. Employee relations ** a. Make recommendations for improvement, advancement, or raises as needed
b. Employee disciplinary actions: i. Document in detail ii. Termination of employee as needed in writing iii. Exit interview of employee
c. Handle unemployment claims: i. Respond in a timely manner to required paperwork ii. File claim for dispute if warranted

**8. Initiation of new clients** a. Assigns caregivers to new clients b. Communicates with family re: start of care
c. Completing assessments as requested d. Other responsibilities as requested by owner

**9. Participate in franchisor business ** a. Coach, present and support training of franchisee groups
b. Participate in continuous support programs and conferences

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
