Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Printer Support Specialist to join a prominent healthcare organization in managing a comprehensive printer migration initiative. This extensive project involves transitioning approximately 2000 non-network printers from a total of 8000 devices, while also delivering tier I desktop assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to support requests through a ticketing system, providing technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Address various printer-related issues, including paper jams, toner replacements, and paper loading.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth migration and support processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Field Support.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting printer malfunctions and performing maintenance on multifunction printers.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, particularly ServiceNow.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when assisting clients.
  • Experience in reimaging Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, MCSE, various printer technician certifications).
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
