Overview:

The Director of Information Management Systems will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the district's Student Information Systems (SIS), application management, data integration, and support for PEIMS and ERP application services. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the district's SIS and ERP applications, ensuring efficient operation and integration.
  • Provide training and support to district personnel to enhance their understanding and use of information systems.
  • Ensure data compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives that align with the mission and goals of Clear Creek ISD.

Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as leadership, business, education, or information technology from an accredited institution.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of TEA data standards and PEIMS reporting policies.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 administrative management systems.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal Accountability, Grants, PBMAS, DVM, and OCR.
  • Expertise in system and application development, automation, and integration.
  • Proficient in management information processes, procedures, and software.
  • Ability to create and implement data quality initiatives and improvement plans.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and develop internal audit processes.
  • Proficient in logical information processing and documentation creation.

Experience:
A minimum of five years in school district IMS activities or leadership roles, with at least three years managing Student Information Systems and ERP applications.
