The City Clerk Department is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as an Elections/Annexation Specialist II.

This position works in the Elections Division of the City Clerk Department.

Responsibilities include:

- Update Election website.
- Prepare legal advertising ads.
- Supervise Elections Annexation Specialists assigned to Early Voting and manage the Election Voter Hotline.
- Perform campaign finance and early voting functions.
- Assist in the testing and verification of system changes and enhancements.
- Review administrative functions and prepare reports from Campaign Finance and Voter Information Systems.
- Review and maintain office and system procedures.
- Forecast, recruit, and train Elections Board Workers.
- Assist as primary backup to operate Early Voting equipment.
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

The incumbent will assist in all phases of elections, including preparing reports, processing documents, reviewing, and revising procedures, and providing training, direction, and supervision of election workers. The incumbent will also assist in the preparation of budget estimates for assigned functions and monitor expenditures to remain within budget. This position requires the ability to interact with the public voting in-person, explain legal processes and requirements, and produce written documents using proper grammar and punctuation.

**SALARY**:
Pay Range: $57,179.20 - 102,668.80 annually.

Hiring Range: $57,179.20 - 63,044.80 annually.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Three years of experience in elections, title examination, and real property management work at the level of Elections/Annexation Specialist I,
- supplemented by courses in business law.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
