**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**

Fund Development
- Cultivates and solicits current and prospective donors to support TCA Health and deepen funders connection to the agency's mission
- Provides support for, and facilitation of, events sponsored by the board in collaboration with executive leadership under the direction of the Development Director
- Completes prospect and grant related research on best practices and program models matching TCA programs to inform prospective expansion or growth opportunities
- Create monthly fundraising reports and dashboards.
- Maintains funding database and completes timely acknowledgment of grant letters and works with finance to issue accurate thank you letters and year end contribution notices.
- Manage relationships on the database and communicate accordingly with various stakeholders (Board of Directors, Executive Director, and the Director Development) for updates.
- Maintain foundation, corporation and individual donor files (on the database and server).
- Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation and individual donors.
- Reconcile donations with the Finance Department monthly
- Handle all administrative details associated with the Event, Advancement, Department and other meetings (i.e. prepare and distribute notices, agendas, minutes, refreshments etc.).
- Coordinate events and mailing of year-end appeal letters.
- Support the writing of cases for support, and appeals to solicit funding
- Reviews RFP’s and grant opportunities submitted by program managers and submits monthly grant opportunity calendar with summaries to executive team for review and directional approval.
- Ensures compliance with all grant reporting timelines and deadlines and periodically updates electronic database systems.
- Collaborates with the team in the planning and production of communication materials and information to increase awareness and funding
- Provides monthly reports to leadership on the progress of development/ fundraising goals, objectives, and activities
- Maintains current knowledge in the field of Development, including emerging trends

Events and Volunteers
- Serves as an agency ambassador, representing TCA’s mission, values, and services to the community
- Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials and other duties as assigned for fundraising events.
- Collect and track volunteer hours
- Organize quarterly volunteer events in collaboration with the Outreach, Programs and Leadership Teams
- Prospect and procure raffle donations for the annual event.

Communications
- Monitor social media platforms and develop new ideas to enhance consumer engagement by acknowledging and solving their problems and queries
- Assemble media and donor kits for events and meetings.
- Coordinate our online and offline communication with community members/stakeholders and increase organizational service awareness
- Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute in online and offline channels
- Develop creative messaging strategies to advertise TCA’s mission, vision and services on top social media platforms
- Produce marketing content for our website
- Track ROI for marketing campaigns, evaluate data and prepare reports based on findings
- Prepare plans for promoting TCA services during outreach and social events where the most potential consumers are to be found. Develop unique ideas for communications to keep our valued clients engaged and attract new ones
- Work closely with key departments to develop sizzle reels and elevator messaging
- Other duties as assigned.

Possible performance measures:

- Number of donations processed and acknowledged within 24 to 48 hours.
- Success in maintaining accuracy of database records.
- Accuracy and completion of fundraising reports and dashboards
- Success in coordinating the production of direct mail appeals.
- Success in maintaining donor hard copy files.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of three years' experience in an administrative position, preferably in a not-for-profit development office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Database management experience
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and towork independently with little supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience creating and presenting polished marketing materials with a high degree of professionalism
- Proficiency using Windows-based programs, especially Microsoft Office; Canva; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency a
